Still waiting!

It has been 19 days since my interview and the last possible date to find out is in 23 days! I have been trying to not think about it too much as I know that it is out of my hands. I will update again when I know more!

Face to face interview

The face to face interview was in Montreal. I found out three weeks after my phone interview and I was told that I would be receiving more information once they confirmed the numbers from disney and the location of the interview. Before the interview Kristen sent out a few emails with things that we needed to know. The first email had a link to the yummy jobs website where there was an application form we needed to fill out, submit and print before the interview. I found of later that they make you do this for the visa application. Also there was a role checklist we needed to bring to the interview. This went over the three options and then we had to check off the ones we wanted to do. We had to bring those and some other things to the interview. The dy before the interview my dad and I drove to Montreal and it took just over 5 hours to get there. Once we arrived we got settled in and then got ready for the next day. The morning of I got up early and started to get ready with enough time not to rush. After getting ready for the day I went to the area where the interview was. I got there 15 min early and there was already more then half of the people already there. After awhile Kristen came out and took all of our names and then moved us to this one area and then came around and gave us some papers on the program. Stuff that I, and probably almost everyone else already knew. We then went into the room where we met Jill and Steve, Jill is head of recruitment and Steve is in charge of things when you get to Florida and the first few days. They gave us a presentation going over the details of the program and again I knew most of it. But it was still good to hear it from the source and get excited about the entire thing. After the presentation Kristen all gave us times to come back and see her with our papers. My time was 2 and as it was only 10:30 I had some time to kill. When the time came I went back and handed in my papers and answered some questions. She also asked about my earliest available date, It turns out they they have some available spots to fill out in April so i told her April I could go. Im hoping they they will have a spot for me then as not everyone could not go down that early. I found out I would be interviewing with Steve and so I stood around in the area and waited for my turn. When it was my turn Steve came out and greeted me and then asked me a few questions about my previous work experiences, if I ever lived with roommates and then some things about Canada and of course my first and second choice. I was told that we should find out before March 15 and if we haven't heard anything by then to email her and she will let us know.

Now all I can do it wait and hope for the best!
